club overview
Club history
Roosevelt Water Polo is a Club Sport at Roosevelt High School, just like lacrosse and ultimate Frisbee. We started in 1999 with a handful of girls and have grown to be one of the top clubs in the state.
We have traditionally consisted of players from a variety of Seattle schools and, while that will remain true, we are committed to ultimately having a team that truly represents Roosevelt while still providing a chance for anyone interested in the sport the opportunity to play. We are looking for anyone interested in trying out the sport. No experience needed or expected. See our Eligibility page for more info on players who do not attend Roosevelt. |
club philosophy
Our goal is to give anyone with the desire to play the opportunity to do so as part of a fun, supportive team. A positive community with skill development is our primary focus while we strive to compete at the highest possible level.
We know our schedule is “unconventional.” We are very accommodating as we realize how challenging it can be. We do encourage players to commit to the team while working with them to balance our schedule with their school and family commitments. |
